Round 5 News

We hope all our Viking Mums and families had a lovely
Mothers Day Weekend! xx

Leadership starts from an early age...

Our Under 8 & 9 teams received a visit from some of our Under 14 boys at training on Friday night. The Under 14 boys have committed to spending some time with the younger age groups throughout the season as part of the clubs pathway program to help with training, build mateship, and assist with providing a fun learning environment for our younger junior Vikings.
Thank you to the Under 14 boys: Rob Jarmain, Flynn McNiece, Josh Walsh, Abdul Kareem Bey, Toby Dale, Sonny Purdy, and Nick Boicos.

U15 Girls Team Building Night

On Friday night, Abbey Brown (U15 Girls Coach) held a Team Building Night.

Abbey organised the night, which included activities to help the girls continue to learn about themselves and their team mates. The activities fostered building trust and learning about each other’s strengths and goals.

Abbey worked on helping the girls to feel empowered and to help each other as they tackled some important teenage issues.

Abbey and the girls had a great night!
Well Done Girls!

50 Game Milestone!

Congratulations to Peter Trimbonias who played his 50 game milestone on the weekend in the U14 competition. Peter also managed to kick his first goal for the season on his special day, and with his team mates also managed a great win over Caroline Springs.

Well done and Congratulations Peter!
