AFL Coach launches the 2017 Coach Support Program

Gavin Brown, North Melbourne FC Senior Development Coach, helped launch the 2017 Dynamic Footy Skills Coach Support Program on Saturday 19th November. Gavin delivered a Professional Development Skills session, putting DFS and local Coaches through their paces.

Altona Juniors Coach Coordinator, Jason Walsh, was one of a handful of Club Coaches selected to participate in the skills session with other DFS coaches. “The 2017 DFS Coach Support Program this year is called AFL2U. It will deliver the latest elite level techniques, drills and skills to assist Coaches. The Altona Junior Football Club will benefit from being exposed to these types of workshops. They assist our Club Coaches to keep up with current trends, techniques and help provide sound knowledge with the latest skills, training drills, and game day strategies. We will also modify our Clubs training programs to incorporate this information” said Jason.
