The Altona Junior Football Club is pleased to announce the appointments of John Szanyi and Matt Johnson as dual coaches of the Under 17 Division 1 team in 2018. Both Szanyi and Johnson have a long history with the Altona Football Club and are delighted to have accepted the dual role. The club is excited to have both premiership coaches continue their leadership after a very successful 2017 season.

U17 Div2 - A great Win over Werribee, through to the next round (8.12.60 v 13.06.84).

Not many Young Players can experience their 100th Game, lead as Captain AND win a place in the Grand Final all in one weekend!...
Congratulations to our U14 Team Captain Rob Jarmain who played his 100 game milestone on the weekend. Rob and his team mates also managed a great win over Werribee Centrals on this special day, and earned a spot in the Grand Final. Well done Rob!

Our bidders really stepped up this year, and we are thrilled. The profit will be divided 50/50 between the E.J Whitten & Alannah Madeline Foundations. In addition to the profits we are happy to also add that $700 was raised from a single item, that will be matched by the AJFC for our local Viking Shae-Lee Murphy, to assist her on her quest to the US in October.

As a result of some great wins over the 2017 season, the AJFC has raised $1783 for the Stop. One Punch Can Kill Campaign.
With the generosity of any AJFC families and friends this is a fantastic effort and we congratulate the kids on their wins and the kindness of those who donated or pledged.
